Join our gardening team and help others discover the joy of gardening! This is the team for you if you enjoy being outdoors, sharing your gardening skills and encouraging others to learn new ones.

Wednesdays, 3.15 - 5pm, Latimer

This team team has 2 sub-teams: our kids team and our cafe team. Our kids team help out with all sorts of activities with kids in school years 1-6, whilst our cafe team chat with the parents in our cafe space.

Thursdays, 8.45am - 12.15pm, Amersham

Be part of The Gathering Place, where your friendly face and conversation help make everyone feel welcome. You’ll serve drinks, keep the space tidy and enjoy connecting with our visitors.

Thursdays, 11.45am - 1.45pm, Latimer

Chat to our families about their individual faith journeys over lunch. Having a Christian faith is important for this role.

Thursdays, 9 - 11.30am and 12 - 2pm, Latimer

We love to invest in the youngest children as they are the next generation. Join our creche team who play with and encourage 0-4 year olds whilst their parents are in courses on site.

Fridays, 3.30 - 6.30pm, Amersham

Join our youth team and help us serve snacks and play games. Perfect for people with a passion for youth work.

Various times and dates

Due to our remote location it isn’t easy for those without a car to get to our Latimer site. Our Minibus Drivers play an essential part in enabling our families to get here

Wednesdays, 6 - 7.45am

This team drive our van over to Uxbridge to collect the fresh produce that goes in the FoodLife boxes

Wednesdays, 9.30 - 10.30am

Join the packing team who pack the FoodLife boxes ready for them to be distributed to our families.

Wednesdays, 12 - 3.30pm or Thursdays anytime from 9.30am - 4.30pm

This team deliver our FoodLife boxes to our families and spend time chatting with and encouraging them.

Tuesdays, 4 - 5.30pm

In Years 7-13 and fancy volunteering with us? Join our Young Volunteers Team and get involved in a huge variety of volunteering roles. This group is also perfect for DofE volunteering experience.

Wednesdays, 9am - 3pm

Everything from mowing the lawn to painting the office. If you like DIY and getting your hands dirty then this is the team for you!

Coffee break and lunch provided

Thursdays, 10am - 3pm

Help us take care of our beautiful gardens. Everything from watering to harvesting crops and weeding.

Tea, coffee and cake provide. Please bring your own lunch.

Thursdays, 10.30am - 1pm

If you are a keen cook and can work well in a team, join our cooking team! This team cook for our Hope Lunch group and then get to enjoy their food alongside the families.

Various Dates and Times

Anything from answering the phone, replying to emails and creating spreadsheets. Come and help our staff in the estate office.

Weekends

Enjoy working with animals? We have goats, sheep, ponies, pigs and chickens to look after in all weathers.

Please note this role involves lifting heavy buckets of water and animal feed.

Occasional Days

We are always looking for people to help us at our huge events. There’s a whole lot of jobs that need doing at events such as stewarding, car parking, cooking, running activities etc.

Various Fridays in the summer term

Over the summer we run school trip days for local primary schools. We are looking for volunteers who can get involved with the activities such as river dipping and animal feeding.
