We believe that hope for tomorrow

will change your today

At Restore Hope we offer enriching groups, courses and activities to help local people in need take their next best step for a hope-filled tomorrow.

Restore Hope was founded in 2002 when Latimer Park Farm was acquired with a simple but powerful vision — to serve and bring hope to the local community. Rooted in the Christian faith, everything we do flows from the principles of faith, hope and love, expressed through practical care and genuine relationships.

In the early days, Restore Hope was powered by a small team of dedicated volunteers. They ran Wimbledon Teas for elderly residents, hosted youth workers’ breakfasts, opened a toy library and organised an annual Christian festival — all simple but heartfelt ways to bring people together and support those around them.

It’s my second family and my safe place’

Over the past 20+ years, Restore Hope has grown into a thriving community of staff and more than 200 passionate volunteers. Together, we run a wide range of groups, courses and events — supporting families, helping parents build stronger relationships and equipping people with practical and workplace skills for everyday life.

Our site is based on 360 acres of stunning Chiltern countryside with a rare and precious chalk stream. Latimer Park remains our core base of operations and a unique setting for restorative work. Here, children, young people and families can participate in programmes designed to build confidence, improve wellbeing and nurture positive relationships. Our commitment to hospitality, nature and our core Christian values (of love, kindness, generosity and grace) shapes everything we do.

In 2024, we were thrilled to expand our work with the purchase of a new site in Amersham. This town-centre presence will allow us to serve more families more consistently and with deeper community collaboration. Our two locations now work hand in hand, offering support both from our beautiful farm setting and our new, state-of-the-art community hub.

Though we’ve grown, our heart remains the same: to serve the children, young people and families of our local community here in the Chilterns.

Restore Hope’s Vision

We see a thriving community of people who, having come through life’s challenges, are rooted in resilience, equipped with life skills and actively contributing to the flourishing of those around them.

Restore Hope’s Mission

Restore Hope creates opportunities for growth and change, breaking through cycles of hardship and helping individuals and families rebuild, take root and thrive. No matter the season or struggle, we believe that hope for tomorrow changes your today.
