We provide a whole range of items each week. Our usual items include things like potatoes, onions, carrots, peppers, pears, oranges, apples, bananas, mushrooms, tomatoes, broccoli/leeks and eggs (when our chickens are enjoying the sunshine). Although we also include some seasonal items from our Garden depending on the time of year. These could be items like courgettes, pumpkins, swiss chard, cucumbers, lettuces, radishes, rhubarb and other items.

This depends on the quality of the food we receive. Our food provision is a fortnightly basis so we hope it helps to contribute to meals for those two weeks.

A referral is for a minimum of 2 months. We do review forms every 3 months, which are sent out to the family to see whether they still require our food support.
Family Support offered me a referral for a FoodLife parcel. I had been very isolated and was struggling, but I started coming in to pick and pack my food parcel which I loved. I brought my son and it’s so nice to show him where his food is coming from, farm fresh eggs and veg grown here at Restore Hope. The food makes me happy. It makes me feel more connected to the community and it’s a chance for my son and I to bond too.
